I have been a charcoal and ink artist since my childhood and became sidetracked into photography in the late 70's while I was serving in the Air Force . The camera allowed me to document those events of my life and learn quite a bit about black & white photography. Although I was not an assigned photographer, my work caught enough attention that I was put on special assignment to photograph numerous events for the Air Force Times and base publications, including the kids that the USAF sponsored to the Special Olympics in 1979.

When I met Bert, he too enjoyed photography and as we traveled together he helped me regain my passion for art through the camera. But it was my children and the ranch that set in motion my need to capture un-staged quiet, fun and interesting moments that most people miss or never have the opportunity to experience. Moments like my daughter Angela cradling her mares first foal or capturing that amazing move a young colt makes that sets in motion his path to becoming a great champion. I am very pleased that my older daughter Lisa has taken up the pen where I left off and is a very talented young artist in her own right. Angela is rarely without her camera. My photographs reflect my true love for animals and why we do what we do. But, you will never see me at a Horse show with a camera, video or still. That is not my element. I will however be the first in line to purchase photographs and videos from the people that capture our horses moments of greatness in the show pen. I appreciate so much the great work they do (their work can be seen throughout this website).

So what has inspired me to put my personal photographs out there for the world to see? Not too long ago, a good friend lost a favorite horse and I just could not find a card that was what she needed. In fact, I realized that I rarely find a card for a fellow animal lover that suits me, but I usually have just the right photo in my collection. So I decided to make my own Notecards and Postcards. This led to my friends and family wanting some and they convinced me to offer them to others. And since I began using some of these images in my ads, I have received very positive feedback that further convinced me how much they are different and appreciated.

Below is a thumbnail gallery of the first collections that I selected for print. These are just a sampling of the thousands of special moments I have captured over the years. As I hear from you and learn your likes, I will add to the collections.

They are printed on the highest quality card stock. The postcards can be mailed as is or I have also provided envelopes. The mini DVD video discs that so many of us use now for sending videos of our horses to prospective buyers fit perfectly inside of the folded notecard.
